Beach Cleaning - Gator
This is the work horse of our beach cleans (excluding our volunteers of course!). This essential piece of equipment makes beach cleaning (and tree planting and all the other projects we do) much more efficient. Previously, we used to have to leave very heavy #GhostNets behind us, because they were just too heavy to lift or drag. With this Gator, we can attach it to the Gator and drag it up off the beach and into the trailer. This makes the beach safe for marine life so the net doesn't wash back out to sea, continuing to catch all it encounters.
The Gator allows physically challenged participants to deposit the rubbish they've collected straight in to the back and not have to carry heavy bags long distances on soft sand! It also allows us to transport someone back to the carpark should someone be tired, or unable to make it back to base. This equipment is integral to our beach cleaning operations. Your support to keep it going, no matter how small is vital and we are grateful to you for it.
Our costs for our Gator include:

- Road Tax
- Fuel
- Maintenance
We suggest €30 here towards the cost of keeping our Gator operational. You also have the option of supporting us by giving €7 per month as a subscription. If neither of these options suit you, please go to our #BeeAHero Campaign Page where you can give from as little as €3.

The right to change your mind
The “cooling off” or cancellation period is 14 days from the date of the support. You do not have to give any reason for cancelling. Refunds will be reimbursed within 14 days.
If you opt to become a monthly supporter, you may cancel at any stage, and there are no hidden fees or charges. Just accept our grattitude that you considered us. We know that sometimes circumstances change, and that you might consider us again at some point in the future.
The subscription will automatically renew until you cancel it.
